I bought this a few months ago and take it out on a the Assawoman bay by Ocean City Maryland. It's a really enjoyable kayak and I'm glad I bought it. Now that I have it though I am starting to learn more about kayaking and \"tracking\" and I do see how this does not track perfectly, but I don't think a kayak in this price range ever will. I'm betting I upgrade to a higher end Kayak within the next couple years. In the meantime, I would recommend this kayak for the casual kayaker.

Bought this at the beginning of 2021 this is my second kayak and I like it way better then my trailblazer
Even though this kayak is a fishing kayak I bought it for recreational use the kayak seems to be made of a heavier plastic and it handles a lot better in the water I would recommend this kayak for both fishing and recreational use
Oh one other thing I like about this kayak it the color it’s a very unusual color but I like itPatri***********trick
Purchased earlier in Spring 2022. I have taken it out once to a local lake on a windy day. Overall it was very stable. It does get turned somewhat easily by the wind, but with both paddlers in sync, you can make good progress and it tracks well.
I would recommend this kayak at this price point. We're already looking at other fun trips throughout late spring and summer to go tandem!
Don't forget to also get scupper plugs (for the holes in the bottom) if you intend paddling when the water is still somewhat cold.Pr****H

This is the 3rd kayak I have purchased from Dick's. All 3 are Pelican's which I like very much. This was the first sit-in kayak that I bought and love it.

I bought a couple of these kayaks for my wife and I. We are just getting into it. They serve us well. We have several lakes we intend to use these on. So far we've hit 2 of them and the kayaks have been great.

I purchased this kayak so I can go out on the Long Island sound which gets wakes from boaters, waves and wind naturally. I love the way it feels when I sit inside, it super light (and I have a bad back), easy to lift and strap to a roof rack without a special kayak carrier. It tracks pretty good but since its only 10ft it will lose its bearing if you stop paddling. Seat feels great even with my bad back but my only complaint, (which is personal since i'm a skinnier dude) is that the seat can feel hard on the butt after a while. Foot pedals are stationary which I like bc I can change it up often as Id like. Knee pads rests are great too. I will be installing side handle carry straps and also be making a spray skirt out of water proof fabric myself. I would buy this again no questions asked. I am a beginner and dont see rapids at all so I can speak to that level. I also don't fish but its got options for that.

We got this for our teenage Grandson. He loves it. Easy to paddle maneuver and the seat is comfortable. Stability is great and will be a great beginner boat for him to learn in.
