This kayak is very stable, im 5’8” 200lbs, i stand up in it no problem. Its tracks good, and is fast enough for a kayak set up for fishing. The reason I gave 4 stars is on account of the foot rests could adjust closer to the seat for people with short legs. Also it has a small leak. The dry storage had some water in after a few hours on the water, but for the price it did great. Ive been out in fresh water and salt water, i was in it for 6hrs and was comfortable

I bought this kayak about a week ago. I took it out the following day. I was concerned the seat wouldn’t be comfortable by the look of it. I had it out for about 3 hours, it was comfortable. I fished from it for a little as well. It handled fine hitting wakes from other boats on the lake. Easy to paddle. Seems to track pretty straight. Light to load in and out of the truck. Overall I’m very pleased with it. The only thing I noticed the label on the hull is a sticker. And it looked like it started peeling. I pressed on it to hope it stays longer. Time will tell on that.

I bought this Kayak on Memorial day and have not regretted it. Easy to launch, easy to maintain, and the chair is comfortable

I bought this kayak 4 years ago and it has held up and provided great stability. I am a 6'4\" 235 lbs male and I have no problems. My legs do have a tendency to get cramped after several hours of fishing but that is expected. This is a great product and worth the purchase if you are just getting into kayak fishing.

I bought this 2 years ago. Excellent bang for the buck. Stable, easy to paddle.
I put a crate in the back with 3 rod holders + 2 built in. Screwed in a cleat (with regular
stainless steel screws) for a very simple anchor line.

I bought this kayak (my first) for fishing and general use. Took it out on the water and I fell in love with it. Tracks well, and alot more stable than I expected. It's a bit on the wider side so you will probably want to go with a longer paddle. Once seated, there is plenty of leg room and room to store smaller equipment. The exopod is wonderful and very handy even though it's not waterproof.

The seat is ok, but I can see it getting uncomfortable after longer periods of time. I simply added my own cushion and was perfectly comfortable.

I am a 5'2 145lb female and had very little trouble loading the kayak into my car by myself. The only down side is that there aren't any side handles which would make carrying it a little easier but I plan on making my own carry straps, so it's a minor detail in my opinion.

All in all I am extremely pleased and can't wait to take it out again.

After researching kayaks for about a mouth I decided on the Pelican Mustang 100x. Let me start by saying I am 5'10 at 230 pound and usually carry 10 to 15 pounds of fishing gear water and oh ya snacks too. Today was first day on the lake with this one and it didn't disappoint. It is stable, tracks very well, and glides excellent. This is my 3rd kayak and my first sit inside and this will not be last. Getting this thing around the lake was easy compared to my other kayaks. Its also only 39 pounds so throwing this in the back of my Jeep Wrangler was a piece of cake. In fact it fit so well I didn't even strap it at all just kicked up the back window and threw it in. While on the lake i spent about 5 hours fishing and the bag compartment hold a lot of tackle. If you are thinking about a kayak in this price range this one is by far the best one!!!
