I’ve taken it out twice on some calm lakes and so far it’s been great. A good beginner kayak. My only complaint is the lack of handles to carry on its side. It’s light enough (about 40lbs) for someone to carry alone if it wasn’t so awkward. The little hand scoop on the side doesn’t allow for anything more than fingertips. I ordered handles I plan to rivet onto the side to make it easier to carry, but it would’ve been five stars if the kayak were designed with said handles.

It's size and weight are perfect for me as I'm vertically challenged. Not hard to load onto top of my SUV or to hang when storing. Comfortable seating. This is my first kayak, but have used friends previously. I'm very pleased with this kayak all around so far and if I get a second one it will be a pelican also ..only negative thing is the storage case that comes with it and fits in the back is not waterproof

The seat on my 1 year old kayak broke. Lifetime immediately responded by sending me a new one. Received it in about a week!

This is a perfect entry level kayak for the casual kayaker. It isn't too heavy so I can lift and carry by myself. However, i cannot get it onto the car roof without my husband's help.

Bought this over memorial day weekend. Have used it twice. Will be taking it to Colorado next week. Very comfortable and roomy.
