Bought my kayak 3 weeks ago and have taken it out 5 times already. The very first time I took it out, the front carrying handle ripped out of the kayak cause it seems like it wasn’t molded properly in the factory, back one has been fine and I fixed it pretty easy with gorilla glue epoxy. It may just be the color cause I got the dark blue but the surface of the kayak can get really hot and feel like it could burn you almost but that mostly an issue going at mid-day. The seat is extremely comfortable, I sat in it 6 hours the other day and my back felt great after wards. Tracks pretty good as long as you apply even pressure on the strokes. GREAT STABILITY, haven’t felt like I was in danger of flipping it at any point so far even taking it fishing. My 60 pound German Shepard is able to fit in the back well and I was able to taken her down a small river without us tipping. I’d recommend it, great value for the price plus I got 10% off with. Can’t wait to take it the lakes and intercostal waterways near me, planning a trip down to the Keys this weekend!

I got this kayak a few weeks ago and took it out this weekend for the first time on a local reservoir. The kayak is easy to navigate and has a bit more features than your standard basic kayaks. The dry pockets work well and the \"hero seat\" is very comfortable. The kayak is easily navigated and manages well on the water.
Note: the cream/black seat in the pictures on Dick's website is NOT the seat that comes with the kayak anymore. This caused quite the confusion when I originally received my kayak.

I picked the Bandit and the Stinger from Pelican at local store in EP TX .. on clearance last week ( Boat Sale ) . I have the Bandit - 300 lbs max. Weight - 6 ‘ 225 Perfect fit - she is 5’5 150 with the Stinger - Max weight 250 lbs. .. We went to local Lake for first time today and we are hooked - I made some adjustments on the Bandit seat the second time around and WOW big difference and my back - I can bend my knees - dunk my feet on the sides of Bandit - and paddle away. She loves her Stinger nice and narrow for her taste . I will convert Bandit for fishing to take to NM Lake . Two Thumbs Up for Bandit and Stinger.

This is an awesome light and fast stable kayak. Most bang for your buck. Better than any old town kayak. Thick wall construction and plenty of room inside. A+++

Bought a Pelican Maverick kayak for my husband, it will be a blast after his old 14’ sit on. That’s the dream. We’ll find out in AZ on the Colorado very soon.
