After months of research I finally settled on this kayak. 1st time out spent about 8 hours fishing and the comfy seat really came through. No soreness at all. Really love the seat. Deducted 1 star due to the flush mount rod holders. If you place your paddle in the paddle strap on the left side be aware of your pole if it's that holder. I needed to grab the paddle quickly on one occasion and due to the placement of the rod holder/paddle holder I lost my pole in the drink. I won't be using the rod holder on that side anymore. Easily fixed with a rod holder in the built in rail system though. Love the yak.

I took my Pelican Mustang kayak on a trip across and around a large lake. I also packed down my kayak with camping gear including tent, sleeping bag and firewood. I really like that it has a low center of gravity, I had no trouble balancing even fully weighed down and packed unevenly with gear. It also has a slight rudder down the length of the bottom which helps keep you steady. Plenty of storage space, which was what I was looking for. And it’s one of the lighter kayaks you can find weight-wise that’s still a casual kayak at this price point. The lighter weight is nice for loading and unloading from the vehicle. Overall I’m very happy.

My husband and I spent a lot of time trying to find the best kayaks for the price until we settled on these and they held up great! The seats are comfortable, if you have to go under a tree/ branch just lay the seat back really quick and can guide under, they are heavier but not to heavy to lift over a long if needed. And they held up great in rough water. Would highly recommend.

We initially were going to buy another brand, but with all of the features of these boats, we changed our minds. We have had them out three times this year and they proved to be the best we've owned. They track perfectly straight and are fairly easy to turn. I weigh 210 and with some gear, I still stay high in the water. Ours didn't come with the side knee pads, which would've been nice and the dry storage compartment lids are a little tough to use, but overall, we are very pleased and highly recommend.

This kayak just needs a couple more features to make it an outstanding yak. They need to combine the features of the Teton angler, Weber angler, and the Emotion Stealth angler. I would like an 11 footer with the seat and rails of the Teton. The Stealth has a wheel in the tail to help transport the boat. A couple of hatches for dry storage would be nice additions. The hull design could be a little faster through the water but adding a foot of extra water line would remedy that. The orange accessories in combination with the available hull colors is somewhat odd, I would have liked to see black but ultimately I can live with it or change it.
Ultimately I really like this kayak. What makes this yak a winner is the seat and the over all design of the Teton. It’s just fun! You stay dry and comfortable all day whether you’re fishing or just paddling around. Lifetime,...I hope you are reading these reviews? You made an outstanding product, thank you!
Not sure why this review asked my player league?? I couldn’t select my correct age but I’d like to think I’m young at heart ! LolK**k

We bought these 3 yrs ago and loving them so much. Light enough but sturdy and stable! I have gone crabbing and even pulled up full size crab pots from the kayak. Great stability even let one of our golden doodles ride with me when they are not being pulled behind us. Really happy we made this purchase I highly recommend them. Ours is the basic trailblazer style which my husband shown in picture has modified with extra rod holders for fishing.
