I just bought this kayak in the blue, the color is amazing. Yes the plastic is thinner than some kayaks but I get the extra length without the weight. I had 270lbs in it and it did fine in the water. It glides nicely across the water seems to track well The storage is ok nice to have but like the others have said nothing is waterproof but at this price point I am very happy with this kayak.

This kayak was very steady in the small waves I encountered in the Gulf of Mexico. I even fished out there and it worked well. The only issue with the kayak is where the carrying handles are located. I hit them several times while paddling. I think if they are moved back to where your hips sit on the seat, it would be better. Otherwise great kayak.

We bought three Sun Dolphin 10' sit on fishing kayaks and I didn't care for them. My husband and son kept theirs but I went back out and purchased this Pelican Trailblazer kayak. I absolutely love it. I stay dry! It doesn't feel like it is going to tip. You will have to purchase a paddle as this one doesn't come with a paddle. They didn't have the color that I wanted at our local F&S but I'm happy with the one that I got. I went to Amazon and ordered a set of rod holders, a paddle holder and handles. They were pretty inexpensive and the modifications will make this kayak perfect!

If you’re debating getting a kayak and appreciate being able to fish while out on the water this is definitely the kayak for you. A fantastic entry level fishing kayak that’ll have you restless for the next time you can get out on the water. The rear storage bag isn’t waterproof or resistant for that matter but most of the time I just have my tackle box there instead for ease of use. It does double as a crossbag though so it’s useful for any hiking you might have in mind. A sponge is definitely A need with this for any conditions other than calm but even in windy weather it does a great job breaking through waves. A 240cm paddle pairs up great with this

Floats, sits, and handles well. Adjustable foot positions for various height paddlers. Light enough to throw over your shoulder. Totally love it!
