I ordered the Teton kayak online and picked up in store. They had a stack of them out front but instead, brought mine from the back. They should have let me pick one out from the stack because the bottom was scratched up. No biggie. The good points: love the colors, very stable in the water, extremely comfortable chair, fits in my suv with back window open. The paddle holder is a big plus. The bungee on the back of the chair adds for more convenient storage. Points to be improved: The accessories do not slide on the rails / slide tracks due to the screw heads. The rails are secured with screws that have rounded heads. These need to be changed to flat-head screws. I also think that the rails would be better if they were made of metal and not flimsy plastic. The bungees are held by holes in the kayak and snap right out of those holes. There is NO way to re-secure the bungees to the kayak when they slip out of their holes. They should just use screw-on pad eyes. One of the two storage areas - front or back, needs to be deeper. The chair sometimes tilts back if not careful. The best way to transport the kayak once unloaded, is a scupper hole kayak cart / trolley. I then turn the cart upside down and stick in the scupper holes on the back of the kayak to store it while in the water so I don't have to take it back to the car or leave it somewhere on the shore.

couldn't wait to get this thing in the water.13.5 kayak hangs out of my truck a lot but bungee cords strap it down good.the only complaint I can think of is that scabbers or plugs don't automatically come w/ this rambler.you would think it to be a necessity but when 2 of us are in the boat only alittle water came in.less than I thought.overall a good purchase and good price.dicks sporting goods is awesome

I've had a Trailblazer for a couple of years and loved it. I wanted to try kayak fishing, so I opted for the Bandit and am in the process of converting it. This boat tracks well, is easy to maneuver and doesn't sit as low as I had expected it to.

Being new to kayaking, I wanted to test out the kayak several times before writing a review. I have taken it out three times so far and it has performed great. It is easy to paddle and stable. I have taken it out into the intracoastal waterway each time and have had no issues with slightly rough water. Really happy with how light it is and that I am able to load/unload it easily. I am going to purchase a second identical kayak this weekend so that I can kayak with other friends and family.
