The kayak is nice; however, some clips were broken and/or missing, which is unfortunate.

Great product for the money. 300 lbs capacity was tested and still remained stable. Stern has open storage which let's water in while heavy loaded. Not good if you are 6 foot 4 inches or taller. Try it in store and make sure you can get comfortable before you purchase

I bought this kayak about a month ago and have used it many times. It moves through the water with ease and is very well built. I have even been fishing off of it.

This is my first Kayak. I wanted a sit on top one for trout fishing local ponds. These have been hard to find and had to travel to a distant Dicks store to buy it. I like the fact that it is made in The USA and has nice features such as rod holders, paddle keeper, carry handles and a great seat. It is a little heavy but I don’t have a problem putting it on my Tahoe’s Thule rack in the saddle position. East to put on from the side with a towel to protect the paint. I like the scupper holes and bought plugs for colder weather. Also modified a milk crate for additional tank well storage and extra rod holders. I’m 260 and felt pretty stable and did not feel like it was going to tip over. It is not fast nor forgiving when tracking. I bought a Omega rod holder that fits nicely in the track. I do wish the track came closer to the seat. Bought the carbon paddle for it which is nice and light. I installed a paddle clip with well nuts since you can’t get inside the hull. Might use in the salt tidal flats and bays for Stripers. Overall a good purchase that gets me in the water where the fish are.

This is my second Pelican kayak and my first trailblazer, and it works for what I need it to do, which is lake kayaking. The reviews I read about it helped seal the deal for this purchase. Good boat for the price and a good boat for beginners.

I’m a first time kayaker and this was a gift to me. I thought kayaking would be hard. I am really impressed with how easy it is to paddle this kayak and how well it will cruise when I stop paddling. I highly recommend this for first time kayakers!

I purchased two Pelican Mustang 100X Kayaks. I took both out to a lake to try them out. Glides easily through the water, light weight, easy to get into and out of. My sister and I were able to load and unload them onto my RAV4. Love that they are only 39 lbs. We are both beginning kayakers and felt that these were very sturdy and we both felt comfortable and safe in them. I helped her into hers (she is 65 and has a bad back) and I was able to get into and out of mine without assistance. Going to take my 10 year old grandson out in them. They are so easy to turn and paddle that I am sure he can easily handle it.
