Besides the fact that mine and the wifes kayak can fit in the back of the truck easily. I love the sit since it sits up higher than many. I plan to put in some fishing extras but it works good for me.

I just bought this kayak and I am SO HAPPY! I was looking all over for a kayak with a high weight limit as I am 300lbs. This kayak is perfect for my weight and size! I’m 5’9 as well. It’s a very dry ride and I feel very safe in it. 5 stars!!

Bought a Teton Pro just a couple of weeks ago. I noticed that the LEFT footrest was actually a RIGHT footrest. I spoke to Customer Service over the live chat, and a replacement footrest was sent out. Eric was a pleasure to work with, and he took care of the issue quickly and professionally.

We bought 3 of these kayaks and just love them. They are great for novices or people (like us) that just want to tool around on lakes, lagoons and canals. Easy to maneuver and lightweight enough to pull in/out of the water. The seat is the best. It is the reason we chose this particular kayak and it paid off. The seat cushion and back are actually comfortable. Great buy for the money.

I bought this kayak hoping the seat would be more comfortable than my sit inside kayak. I was not disapointed. It’s like paddling around in a lawn chair. And is very stable.

These kayaks are unbeatable for recreational performance, the lightweight quality, the ease of putting them on-top of a vehicle and the comfort level of the seats. In rebuttal to some of the low rating issues: I do not notice the kayaks sitting \"too low\" and I am about 185lbs. If anything, I think the fact they may be marginally lower helps with stability because it is a lower center of gravity. Another concern some have is about \"tracking\" performance- the bow of the kayak slightly sways the opposite side in which you paddle- this is true of ANY kayak though. Perhaps it is more noticeable with these because they are lighter- it's a tradeoff though because if you get a heavier kayak, the tracking isn't as noticeable but you are exerting more energy and force to move the kayak through the water. Do not let these \"concerns\" fool you. Overall, this is an excellent product and the value is incredible.

I bought a similar kayak from the same manufacturer a long time ago and got a ton of use from it. This one looks and feels the same. I put it in the water for a quick test drive and I'm thrilled. Can't wait for the nice weather coming to really use it!

I have read reviews, tried out sit on and sit in kayak's for two years and this one had all the features I wanted. Dick's had a fantastic sale so I bought two, one for me and one for husband. They're comfortable, light enough that I can carry myself if not too far from the water. Happy to have found that the fishing pole holes will fit a golf umbrella to give you a bit of shade.
I got water inside (left them on the lawn and the sprinklers came on) and tried to get the drain plug out but it is VERY stiff. Had to use pliers to grab hold and it broke. ($6.99 online to replace) So be careful if you need to pull the plug. Try to pry it up without damaging the kayak. That is my only issue. Love these things and can't wait to get them out on the water again.
