Great for the price I paid. Everything you need in a fishing kayak. Seat is not the most comfortable. Still, happy with my purchase

Bought 2 of these last week. Excellent value. One issue (from first voyage): the front storage compartment (on top, with a strap to hold the lid on) is not in any way waterproof. Anything In there needs to be in a zip-loc bag or a Rubbermaid snap-close container. Other minor issue: The drink holder lays your bottle horizontally between your legs. It would make more sense to have the drink holder hold the drink upright. Other kayaks have that arrangement. The boats track nicely. Not too heavy (easy to get up and on your rooftop J-rack). The boats seem well made. I would recommend these to other potential buyers.

Took this out today and enjoyed every second! Very comfortable and glides through the water. I felt very safe and stable for this being a sit in fishing kayak.

Purchased in 2017. My 11 yr old son has used it for 2 seasons. Very happy with the 'yak. Very stable hull. Not as efficient for paddling compared to \"touring\" type hulls. Good overall compromise for a fishing type design. Light enough to be handled by one person. Tough enough to not worry about rocks and logs

We have 2 of these & are getting one more so all of us can have our own! Love them!!

I am a short, stocky, clumsy dude with bad posture. I often feel very stiff/sore after sitting on any kind of boat/canoe for a short amount of time. I was pleasantly surprised by the seat on this, and the foot rests were perfect for me could spend hours on the lake with no problem.

I purchased this kayak for recreational use and I'm very happy with the weight, comfort and attention to detail. For the price, this is a terrific kayak, even if it was more expensive it fits my need of a lightweight manageable kayak. I've been using it a couple of times a week and have been very pleased. There is a place to secure a water bottle and the seat
is particularly comfortable.

I enjoy the water but didn't want to spend thousands of dollar on a boat. I looked into canoes and kayaks. A canoe is great but not very good as a one person craft. I did a lot of research on kayaks and manufactures. I watched You tube videos, and read reviews. I found that the Pelican kayak was one of the best in that price range. In fact when I spoke to my Daughter and ask what she thought, she like the idea so much that we purchased two Pelican kayaks. Once we got the kayaks in the water, they performed even better than expected. They are very stable on the water.
The purchase was made at Dicks Sporting Goods in Pensacola Florida. The store was great and the employees were very helpful.

Perfect kayak. After using one for the last 4 years, I decided to buy another one. Very convenient and comfortable to pedal by adults and kids alike. Also has the fishing kayak features without extra price.
