It’s a great kayak for the price! Floated the Yadkin River greatly!

Quick background. I'm a new kayaker, I'm 6 ft, weigh about 240 lbs and wanted to use it for fishing, exercise, and relaxing. Was looking at some sit on tops, but nice ones with a good seat were over my budget.

The 10 foot version of this gets great reviews. I was worried about the weight limit at 300 lbs with everything I want to bring, so I went with the 12 ft. Not a ton of reviews on this one, but I grabbed it for 300 dollars on sale and it's been very worth it.

Once I learned how to paddle correctly and got used to it, I never feel like I'm going to tip it. It holds my poles, and I have plenty of room. It moves well, and the seat is comfortable. I even got a little blue tooth speaker to clip to the cell phone strap on the cockpit.

Anyway, if your thinking about getting this, just do it. You need a roof rack too, so save an extra 100 bucks. There's nothing like getting out on the water for a few hours, I've been out for longer than 6 at a time and never felt uncomfortable either.

I needed stable angler kayak for river fishing. Because the river get very shallow in summer the trophy was perfect! I trails straight. It has low draft. Is light and many accessories. It did alot of research and hands down for the price it is a excellent kayak. Dicks had this on sale but at full price its worth every penny

Bought 2 of these and have had them in big swells, and they handle great.
Best feature is their portability - two on a small roof rack not problem.
    Great value for money.

Looks good, however straps and clamps to hold down seat are cheaply made and crack and break as soon as the temp changes. Also why are you aelling a kayak without a paddle?? I want answers lifetime. Nylon isn’t burned down at tips correctly and is weak with cuts from store. For a 485 dollar kayak that’s supposed to be for fishing why doesn’t come with a trolling rod holder. Probably would look elsewhere.

These are nice entry level calm water kayaks. We have enjoyed taking them out every weekend since we purchased them. They are small (10 ft) and light weight (~37 lbs), so they are easy to handle.

The family and I became interested in kayaking a few months ago. I am a bigger guy, so the kayaks that we bought them did not have the weight capacity for me. The others were Pelicans as well. This one had an adequate weight capacity. I have used it several times now and love it! It has great stability. It is easy to maneuver.

I bought this before the pandemic really hit, and kayaks became scarce! I love it, it's nimble, lots of features, attractive, very good buy!
