BOTE HD 12' Classic Cypress Stand-Up Paddle Board

I purchased this kayak in \"Lemongrass\", a few weeks ago when they were still 399. I bought it with all intentions of modding it to fit my fishing needs. There are many reviews and how-to's listed on youtube, that are very helpful. At this price-point, you won't find a more comfortable seat for a kayak. If your are just getting into kayak fishing, this is probably the least expensive choice with this level of comfortability. I have fished from sit-ins before, and they are ok, but the ease of entry and exiting a sit-on are much more favorable for me at this stage of life. I'll do another review in a couple months, after several times of use in lakes, rivers, and creeks. Pics show the dry-stow ports I added on the bow and stern.

After research and speaking to others, a sit on top kayak came highly recommended. I chose this kayak because of the adjustable pedals, knee pads (I later found that I’m too short for them to be effective), and the storage container. It’s perfect for small rapids or rowing around a lake. It maintains a good balance. I love this kayak.

I bought this after owning a 10’ ascend for 8 years I took it out for the first time on a windy day and this thing handled awesomely. I was by myself and it tracked great. I used my old paddle that I had for my 10’ kayak and it felt fine. It is extremely stable entering and exiting and seats are comfortable after making a few adjustments.

This was my first kayak and I was impressed with how it handled. I ended up getting a longer paddle than what Dick's recommended as this yak is wide and I kept hitting the sides with the paddle. I replaced the seat with a more padded one. I frequently take my dog with me and this kayak tracks very nicely. I have since bought two other kayaks (a perception tribe and a field and stream blade). I use the perception on rivers, the field and stream on lakes and the pelican whenever I take my dog.

Been out in it 4 times now, enjoy it more every time. Tracks good and is plenty fast. Stable for me at 6'2\" and 220lbs. Probably not gonna try to stand up in it! Love the color and the length makes it easy to fit inside my 5th wheel camper when traveling.

I use this kayak on an inland lake and it is perfect. It is light weight, easy to maneuver and is stable when entering from a dock. Love it.

My wife loves it. It is light weight, easy to use, and beautiful. There is ample storage and gives her the ability to fish whenever she wants to do this. The price point was decent too.

I have only used mine once , just in our community retention ponds . Tracks well & the weight is easy to handle . The only issue I have is my age getting in & out , not too easy..
Still plan on trying in the Cherry Grove boat launch to the jetty.
It is a bit easier to handle , both in the water & out , than the 16' Wenonah canoe..

Bought this kayak last week and took it out for the first time today. It's light enough to easily load and unload from the roof carrier by myself. Tracks nicely and cuts through the water easily even against a bit of a headwind. For the current price you can't beat it. Very glad I made the purchase.
