Taken it out a couple times now. Always had sit ins but wanted to try a SOT. I own several kayaks and decided to give this one a try.
PROS: Nice comfy seat, can paddle for hours without needing a rest, 2 positions....high and low. Lots of storage inside the dry hatch, all the way thru the hull. Good footrests. Handles are great. Gopro mount is a plus. Pull strap does its job. Boat is very stable and tracks well. I stood up and fished and paddled with no problem. Large tank well for gear. Skeg wheel does its job on concrete. Track mount is great for gear, I added a couple tie downs and drink holder. Boat drains well when you get water inside.
CONS: after 2 uses the stitching on the seat is coming apart. The hooks also fell off. I emailed customer support and am waiting on a reply. Not good after 2 outings. The boat is also extremely heavy, around 75 lbs. Getting it on top of an SUV by yourself might be difficult. The skeg wheel is really small and clogs up quickly with mud and rocks. Theres also no built in drink holder. I added one on the track mount. It would also be nice if there were a small dry storage area in front of the seat.
Most of the issues are minor, except for the seat. If they won't do whats right the boat wasn't worth it. I'm hoping they do though, cause I really do like it, especially for the price

I purchased a pair for something to battle COVID19 boredom and get some exercise. Glad I did, the wife and I and others have kept these boats in the water constantly for three months on mostly slow moving rivers. Even when the water is high they are easy to maneuver.
I can’t imagine why you need to pay more to get more features. Maybe one day I will.

I absolutely love this Kayak. It is roomy. Love the coral color. Love the drink holders and compartments. It has It all.

This is a great kayak, it tracks well and turns easily. I am a first time kayaker, and I love it. There are adjustable foot rests inside and a place with a bungee strap to hold a bottle of water on the seat. The front cargo storage is great for carrying necessities and the rear gives access to the hull for greater storage.

I bought this one several months ago, then some dirt bag stole 2 of my kayaks by cutting the lock on the Russian River. I re bought this kayak because it was great.

The seat was on backwards and it had a scuff mark, but who cares (this is COVID). Good for an entry level fishing kayak, it’s my first and only yak. There is a nice video on YouTube showing modifications if you want more dry storage, etc.

Have rented several and borrowed others and finally decided to buy one. Got a great deal on this one. Have been very happy with its performance. Tracks well, good maneuverability and very stable. Lightweight too. Only wish it had better storeage, but bought dry bags to help.

Great on the lake! Comes equip with lots of room for picnic and fishing storage. We bought 2 of the mustangs kayaks and can't get enough of the great outdoors...

Had our kayaks out on 4 outings; 2 on lakes and 2 on rivers. Happy with performance. Track well without wasted effort on correction. Seats are very comfortable. Most stable kayaks we have used. Would buy again.

Bought this a month ago for my 13 year old daughter as a birthday gift. She loves it. Very stable and maneuverable and, since I bought it during the spring boat sale at Dick's, the price was right.
