Wilderness Systems Tarpon 120 Kayak

I have had kayaks before so I new what I was getting into . Switched from a 12 foot boat into this 1o foot because it was easier for me to load and handle . Very comfortable sitting position . Great kayak. I purchased the camouflage version for duck hunting . So here is the question I would like to ask the manufacturer. Why would put bright ORANGE handles and tie downs on a camouflage boat ? Going to have to make some modifications , that's why I did not give it 5 stars .

My husband talked me into this one. But it’s super stable and easy to maneuver. Dry compartments stay dry. I was disappointed one of the attachment screws was broken

It's big. It's stable. It tracks well, and was surprisingly maneuverable. Plenty of room for two people, even with my 220 lbs in the seat. My teenaged daughter even took it out by herself with no trouble at all, and no one in my family had any kayaking experience.
It's only downside is that it is a bit heavy (75lbs). The weight and overall size makes it hard for one person to handle on land. In buying a trolley for it, so I can move it from storage to water by myself without any strain.

Bought 2 kayaks about 2 weeks ago and took them to the lake this past weekend. Great kayaks. Very stable. Good storage although we got a dry bag as we set out for all day adventures. I wanted a purple kayak and this was the only one in my price range. Prices were great at Dicks. I got 2 bandit kayaks, 2 paddles and 2 life jackets for less than $500. Great investment and great kayak. I highly recommend the pelican bandit.

I am glad i bought it. It tracks very well. I would recommend you get a long paddle.
don't buy on you height. This kayak is wide. My paddle is 190cm and i wish it was a little longer for this kayak. Fairly easy to carry if not loaded down with other stuff.

I bought two Pelican Trailblazers for my wife and I. They are just what we need as beginners. They tread straight and go fast enough to keep up with other skilled kayakers. I would recommend this product for anyone wanting to get into the sport. The sales associates were helpful loading them both for us as well.

I just bought this mustang as my first kayak and took it out a few hours ago, as being new to kayaking it took me a second to get comfortable out there on the lake. But after spending some time paddling around I found it was very stable/comfortable and easy to control. I am 6 foot and was able to move my legs around a good bit, the adjustable rubber strips on the side of the rim is nice also so your legs aren’t rubbing against the plastic. I also did some fishing while out there, the rod holders are awesome. The only thing I was disappointed with was that there is nowhere to strap your paddle to while being stationary. There are some indented spots to let it rest in but I’d like to be able to strap it on the side to get it out of the way while fishing. Overall I highly recommend this, as a beginner this thing made me feel like had done this before after about 20mins on the water.

My wife and I bought this kayak for her and it has worked very well, she is very comfortable with it.
